ABOVE AND BEYOND

MILFORD SOUND - DOUBTFUL SOUND

This is a trip for those wanting to venture a little further into Fiordland. As we journey through this wild landscape, we have plenty of options to choose from with the many fiords that line this section of coast.

The fiords themselves have many stories of past adventures with early explorers prospecting and of course the Maori travelling though the area in search for the valuable Greenstone / Pounamu.

The adventure involves coastal passages between fiords - Each stretch along the coast could be up to three hours at a time before being able to retreat into the calmer waters of the fiords, which host an abundant network of walks and river valleys to explore.

The landscape is impressive and as we work our way through the fiords you will be blown away with how dramatic and remote this section of coast is.
